These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Chain Academy platform operated by Chain Academy, Inc. ("Chain Academy," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account Registration

To access our platform, you must create an account by subscribing through our payment system. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Subscription and Payment

  • Access to Chain Academy requires an active paid subscription.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate displayed at the time of purchase.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account
  • Copy, redistribute, or resell course content, AI-generated materials, or any platform content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from our platform
  • Use the AI tutor to generate content that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with the operation or security of our platform
  • Use automated tools or bots to access the platform

4. Intellectual Property

All course content, lesson materials, quizzes, slide decks, and platform design are owned by Chain Academy, Inc. and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the content for your own educational purposes.

Code examples and exercises provided in lessons are licensed for your personal and professional use, including in your own projects.

5. AI-Powered Features

Chain Academy uses artificial intelligence to provide tutoring, generate learning paths, and create educational content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may contain errors. You should independently verify any code, security advice, or financial information provided by the AI tutor before using it in production.

We are not liable for any damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

6. Privacy

Your use of our platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Chain Academy is an educational platform. Completion of courses or the bootcamp does not guarantee employment, certification by any third party, or any specific outcome.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chain Academy, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data or use, arising out of your access to or use of our platform.

Our total liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Sections regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
